Supervisor & Machine Operator

Position: full time | Place of work: Vanda, Finland

Axla Logistics offers logistics solutions for e-retailers, including receiving goods, warehousing, pick and pack, delivery, and returns management. We help Finnish and European e-retailers succeed in their ventures and reach more markets. We offer varied and diverse work in which you will play an important role in our production team.


We’re currently looking for two people for our fulfilment centre in Vanda:

Supervisor

As a supervisor, you’re the Team Leader’s right-hand man. Together, you manage operations at the fulfilment centre, and you serve as the link between the Team Leader and production staff. Your duties include distributing tasks among the staff and planning day-to-day work. It is a plus if you have computer skills and are comfortable working in different IT systems. You should enjoy working with people and be confident in a supervisor role. You are responsible, used to working independently, and focused on finding the best solutions for our customers.

Machine operator

You have a technical interest in and practical knowledge of technology. Axla offers both manual and machine-based packing. You will be responsible for ensuring that the mechanical technology for this is working. You need a positive attitude, good collaboration skills, and customer focus.

Key qualifications and qualities:

  • Good language skills. The language of the organisation is Swedish, and we operate in an international industry. We have customers in Sweden, Finland, and throughout the rest of Europe. Consequently, the supervisor role requires good language skills in Swedish, Finnish, and English. For the machine operator role, you need good knowledge of either Swedish, Finnish, or English.
  • Meticulous and proactive. Your work requires a systematic and meticulous approach. You need to understand the customers’ needs and work proactively together with them to develop functional solutions.
  • Energy. You are solution-oriented and are involved in the development of Axla. A first-class customer experience is the cornerstone of our business. We anticipate and manage customers’ sales peaks and challenges.
